A YouTube video showing a bright white star-like object wandering about a daytime sky, and seemingly hiding behind clouds, has been posted:
Could this have simply been a plane flying to and from, and only seeming to hover? Could this be some high-tech drone that can go very high? Or maybe this is more mysterious than that.
If you live in the Houston area and also saw this, and can help verify or explain the sighting, report your sighting.

A Texas UFO Sightings reader submitted an account of several orange lights, seemingly flying up from the ground, and darting around and making formations: There was several about 10 that darted from the plant (factory) behind our home. It was about 1:30 pm and I was lying in bed when I saw 2 objects moving very quickly in the sky. Got up looked through my window and the we're coming from the left side of the plant. They move up by two's then moved forward. My husband thought they were planes but there were no noise and they were bright orange moving in unison very fast through the skies. We watch as about 10 rose up in twos moving very fast. There were no flickering lights. One rose up dated right and disappear instantly. We try to video but neither of our phones worked. We watched a little longer one lone light arose darted right then disappear. What was interesting was they caught up with each other. The object appeared to be triangular, I thought they were jets but they were silent moving two quickly. We went back where we thought we saw them but there are only large fields and some houses no runway. What was different with these objects was they appeared to rise up from the ground and hovered then moved forward. There is a huge plant of some sort behind River run in Rosenberg Tx. This is a new development area. These objects were coming from the far right of that plant. This is a very similar testimony to one I received from the Fredericksburg area about a week prior. Could these sightings be related? If you've seen lights like these in the sky, and you don't think they are Chinese lanterns or something else explained, report your sighting!
Texas UFO Sightings reader John S witnessed a very peculiar sight in the Houston area, and although there are no photos or videos, his description is nice and detailed and eerily echoes many several recent sightings in the state of strange, seemingly intelligent lights forming all kinds of weird patterns: Apx 4:00 in the afternoon. Several light colored sphere shaped objects floating in loose synchronization behind a dark spiraling object, shaped like a looped boomerang, at apx 1000 feet. Traveling silently seemingly on a wind current, heading northeast coming from the southwest side of town. Shortly before this We saw a large military type propeller jet maybe a C-5 or C-130 aircraft flying in the same general direction, however more north bound. No ability to take a photo, we focused in on the objects with our binoculars, then they disappeared into the ongoing rain clouds. What are these lights? It's like the famous Stephenville lights from the 80s are back - but all over the Lone Star State this time, and super frequent, to the extent that we can barely process what's going on. These aren't drones, planes, birds or Chinese lanterns folks.
If you've got theories, share them in the comments or on the Facebook page. And as always - if you've seen these lights as well, or have seen any UFOs in Texas recently, report your sighting!
My family and i were at my sisters wedding Saturday night, the 29th. After the ceremony, around 8:30 pm, myself, my girlfriend, my neither and his girlfriend were sitting by the water facing south toward Galveston, tx. I noticed what at first appeared to be a star swaying back and forth. Over and over. After a while, it would sit still, then continue to move side to side in the sky. Since we were at a wedding, i unfortunately didn't have the time to watch it for more than 5-10 minutes, but wanted to report what we witnessed. Thanks. Could this have been a satellite or star that only appeared to move back and forth, or a true blue UFO? Share your ideas in the comments. And if you saw a strange star in the Houston area recently, report your sighting.
A Houston area resident and their son watched a "flock" of white, glowing orbs travel through the sky, sometimes changing elevations. They could be seen even when traveling through the clouds. Here's the full MUFON report: Was sitting on my porch which faces east. Was looking at the rain clouds coming in. I noticed a group of white objects moving from east to west. At first I wondered if it might be a group of white birds avoiding the storm but they traveled behind a low storm cloud and I could see them glowing through the cloud. There were about 15-20 white glowing orbs traveling together and holding altitude. I tried to get my camera out to video the objects but before I could they had traveled to far west and I could no longer see them because our building was now blocking my view. So I ran inside and straight through my apt. while yelling at my son Ethan to follow. As we approached a good observation area on the south side of the bldg I was telling my son the height and flight path of the objects when he spotted them at about 2 miles out as they came out from behind a cloud. He saw the same group of what he describes as "a dozen to a dozen and a half white orbs" traveling west away from us. The objects were then lost in the cloud cover. These were definitely glowing objects that were not " usual" or " normal". My son also noticed slight changes is elevation of a few of the orbs as they traveled. |
